Born and raised in Carrollton GA, I started cutting my hair at the age of 10 using my father's clippers.... My father passed when I was 13. I started cutting Family and friends. My environment as an adolescent lead to trouble without my father in the household, but it was never giving up my passion for cutting hair and the inherent responsibility to share my talent that stuck with me and got me where I am now as a barber.

Most of my friends clients call me Joe Fade. I came with alias at the age of 25 when I was homeless and hopeless.. I needed to reinvent myself and rebrand my ambition. I've been serving this area for over 25 years now..

 

I love to cut hair but it has taught me valuable life lessons and great patience over the years.. It has also shown me how important a barber and barbershop is to the community.

 

As a master barber I was taught that we sometimes have to reeducate the community , nurture , and service as pillars and mentor small child and young men. I take those responsibilities as an obligation and look forward to it daily. The only thing i would change is having my father here to see me as I still seek his approval. I figured out all I ever wanted was to make him and my family proud. I also attended barber school at Vogue beauty & barber school in Hiram,Ga.
